由荷馬創作的史詩，特洛伊戰爭結束後，主角奧德西斯準備回家鄉時觸怒神明，於是簡單的回鄉之旅演變成充滿苦難的漂泊十年

看到這張圖時不禁心想這船長其實是超史詩級路痴對吧

回到馬力歐身上，彷彿宿命一般的碧姬公主「又」被庫巴抓走（嗯？我怎麼會說又呢？）

遭遇困難、遇見同伴、磨練技巧，追在庫巴身後穿越大大小小的王國……奧德賽代表著這部史詩，同時也代表著這遊戲擁有的漫遊元素

有很多事要做但一點都不緊湊，多失敗幾次，馬力歐肯定能和公主一起回到蘑菇王國的。
